01 About this policy
This policy explains how 1008.ai handles personal information when you visit our website, create an account, generate images or videos, or contact us. References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean the operator of the 1008.ai service.
For privacy questions or requests, email support@1008.ai. Our Terms of Service explain the rules for using the service, commercial use and purchases.
02 Information we collect
- Account information: the email address and authentication information needed to create, secure and access your account.
- Creative content: prompts, reference images, generation settings, generated images and videos, and records of your creation requests.
- Service records: credit balances, credit use, task status, timestamps and technical information needed to operate and troubleshoot the service.
- Communications: information you provide when contacting support, including details needed to investigate your request.
- Purchase information: when you make a purchase, the transaction details needed to provide your purchased service and handle billing enquiries. Payment information collected by a payment provider is also subject to that provider’s privacy notice.
Please do not include unnecessary sensitive personal information in prompts or uploads, or submit information about other people without an appropriate right to do so.
03 How we use information
We use information to authenticate your account, process generation requests, display and deliver results, manage credits, respond to support requests, troubleshoot errors and protect the service against misuse. We also use relevant records to resolve billing issues and meet applicable legal obligations.
Where a law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on performance of our agreement with you for service delivery, legitimate interests for proportionate security and service administration, legal obligations for required records, and consent where consent is required. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests where applicable.
04 Your content and privacy
Your uploads and generated images and videos are private by default. They are not published to a public gallery simply because you create them. Access to your workspace is associated with your account.
Private visibility does not prevent the processing needed to generate, store and deliver your results or investigate a support or security issue. Do not share your account credentials. If you download, publish or share content outside 1008.ai, its subsequent handling depends on the destination and your own sharing choices.
05 AI processing and training
We do not use your prompts, uploaded materials or generated images and videos to train AI models. Processing that content to fulfil a generation request is separate from model training.
We process the content and settings you submit to produce the requested output and manage the associated task. Operational records may be used to diagnose errors and maintain the service; this does not grant permission to use your creative content as model-training material.
08 Retention and deletion
Generated videos are available to retrieve for 72 hours after they are ready. Download videos before that window ends. A download expiry is not a promise that every related task record or backup is deleted at the same time.
Account records and creative content are retained as needed to provide your workspace and requested services. Relevant records may also be retained for security, billing enquiries, dispute resolution or legal requirements. We do not promise permanent storage of generated content; keep your own copies of results you want to retain.
To request deletion of your account or personal information, email support@1008.ai from your account email. We may need to verify your identity and explain any records that must be retained. Requests are handled subject to applicable law and the nature of the records involved.
09 Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, obtain a copy, restrict processing, or object to certain processing. Where processing depends on consent, you may withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Send requests to support@1008.ai. We may request information to verify your identity before acting. You may also raise a concern with the relevant data-protection authority where that right applies. We will not deny service solely because you exercise an applicable privacy right.
10 Security, updates and contact
We use account access controls and other appropriate measures to protect information. No online service or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. Notify us if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
If you believe a child has supplied information without the permission required by applicable law, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
We may update this policy as our service or applicable requirements change. The date above identifies the latest revision. Where required, we will provide notice of material changes rather than treating continued use as consent to a new purpose that requires separate consent.
